OUR DEMOCRACY IS IN JEOPARDY—HELP US TAKE ACTION NOW TO DEFEND IT!

Join us for a march and rally to demand the passage of the For the People Act and elimination of the filibuster! The event is on 
Saturday July 10 at 6:30 PM in downtown Riverside.

Since our theme is Defending Our Democracy, let’s amplify that message!  
We encourage you to dress as your favorite super-hero, whose goal is to defend our democracy (with corresponding posters/signage). Or maybe you’d rather be your favorite villain with an evil label (i.e., bad guy labeled “voter suppression,” etc.). Not a “super” person? Come as an icon of liberty (i.e., Statue of Liberty, Abraham Lincoln). Why is this important? Super-heroes (and villains) mean super impact, super statement, and super fun!

We’ll have a short rally, a march through a few blocks of downtown Riverside (which is very busy on Saturday nights), and many amazing photo ops! Not able to march? That’s okay! We’ll have entertaining activities for you until the marchers return. Another plus to joining us? We can celebrate the inauguration of Joe Biden as a group, which we couldn’t do in January because of the pandemic. It’s going to be a fun and meaningful night! We can’t think of a better way to spend a warm summer evening in beautiful downtown Riverside - Defending Our Democracy!
